Swaged Line Tension Device

Designed for use with SFS lifeline systems at start locations. This tensioner allows for it to be swaged to 8mm stainless steel wire rope to create a system termination point. This type of tensioner should be used in conjunction with either a Swaged 0.8kN Combined Tensioner or Swaged 5kN Combined Tensioner to allow flexibility when installing longer lifeline systems. This dual tension solution remedies the difficulties, on longer systems and high tension systems, when cutting wire rope to the correct lengths and bringing the system to tension, due to the greater mass of the longer wire rope. Wire should be crimped inside hollow section with a series of five 130kN swages.
