Swaged 0.8kN Combined Tensioner
Item No. 1501205
Description
Designed for use with SFS lifeline systems at start locations. This tensioner allows for it to be swaged to 8mm stainless steel wire rope to create a lifeline system termination point. This particular tensioner is pretensioned to 0.8kN with an indicator disk for use by an installer. The purpose of this indicator is to provide some feedback to the installer once the wire in the lifeline system has reached the required system tension of 0.8kN. Wire should be crimped inside hollow section with a series of five 130kN swages.
The system is tested and approved to the latest product standards and can be configured for both fall restraint as well as fall arrest applications. As specialists in fixing technology, we are uniquely positioned to provide fastening solutions for all applications. Incorporating patented technology to provide flexibility to system designers and installers, where fall hazards are a risk to safety.
